Q: iMovie missing videos on iPad Air

Hello community.

I have the following issue with iMovie. I created a project in iMovie from recordings I made on the iPad. After finishing the iMovie project, I backed up all videos and photos from iPad to my PC by coping and pasting everything from the external storage option of iPad (not iTunes), because I had no space left to export my video, and deleted all videos from iPad to make space. After that I opened iTunes and synced my iPad. Of course the iMovie project could not find the files from my camera roll, so I thought, ok, I will sync my iPad and transfer back only the videos that I used for the project so that it can recognize them. I did that but to no avail. iMovie still says "Missing videos. Would you like to search for the missing videos?" and I press yes, but it still cannot find the videos. What should I do? The videos are on the iPad, on a folder that I synced named "Photos & Videos" (the videos are not found in the camera roll any more, but under the previously mentioned folder and in "Videos" folder which I guess it is a pointer from the folder "Photos & Videos" that the iPad created). The iPad cannot recognize them, even though the recording are right there! And also I did not export the iMovie project to video unfortunately.

Any ideas? This is very important, as this project was done as part of my business and I cannot recover it.

Please note that all these were done on iPad Air, 16GB, iOS 9.2 and iMovie 2.2.1.

Thanking you all in advance.

iPad Air, iOS 9.2, iMovie
