iPhone with iOS 9 International

Hello,


I have t-mobile as a carrier and have had my iPhone 5s for 2 years and i have been able to use it in Europe and Central/south America with me changing the APN from fast.t-mobile.com to epc.tmobile.com


with the new iOS 9, i do not have the ability to change the APN.


I was in Germany 2 weeks ago and was not able to use texting or data or making calls.


When i go to carrier under settings, it is set to auto, I can unselect it and see other carriers while traveling, but when i select one and try to check email or send text, the phone stated "could not activate network" or something like that.


Can anyone tell me how i can use my iPhone 5s internationally now, since i cant change my APN?


Has anyone else experienced this with iOS 9 or has anyone had luck with iOS 9 and t-mobile?

The article also seems to imply that if you do not have the ability to edit your APN settings, you may want to contact your carrier. Thanks for being a part of the Apple Support Communities!
