Q: Do Keynote build effects work on all Apple devices?
Ok, I'm sure I could dig around for this info, but I'm in a real hurry. I have made an elaborate presentation on my iPad, and in the past I have just used my iPad as the display (with an iPhone as a remote). I've got all kinds of timed build effects, transitions, etc. However, I have been asked to give a seminar at a different location that uses a large screen projector, projecting from a computer. I don't know if the computer is a PC or a Mac. However, the organizers mentioned to me that I could use iCloud.com's online KeyNote. This has me scared, because I know that the online version does not support build effects and it will just throw out all my slides with everything visible at once (and all jumbled up as well.)
However, I also have never actually used a Mac for presentations either, as my particular line of work doesn't usually call for me to be speaking to more than just a few people at a time (hence why I've always just used my iPad). I don't have a MacBook to test it out either....
So my main question is this:
Will all the build effects work on a Mac computer exactly as they do on the latest OS and latest Keynote version for iOS??
I have asked the organizers for confirmation on whether they have PC or Mac, and I know I will have to remake the entire presentation if they say PC, I'm basically just wanting to know if I'll have to do any work if they have a Mac, or if I'm safe to leave it as it is.
Sorry for the long question, and thanks in advance for any help.
