I've disconnected and reconnected the Smart Keyboard several times and have done a hard reset on the iPad Pro. The past two days when the iPad is in the upright "watch" mode (with the keyboard behind it) it randomly wakes. Also, I've had the keyboard completely stop responding and have to disconnect and reconnect the case to get it to work again.

I just got my smart keyboard and I am having the same problem. Help!
Same problem here. Randomly turns the screen on waiting for me to use Touch ID or enter a password. This only occurs when the Apple Smart Keyboard is connected (but keyboard is folded behind).
At one point I disconnected the Apple Smart Keyboard then reconnected it, ended up getting this error message: "This cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably with this iPad."
This has only occurred once.
Same problem here with Keyboard when it is in the folded back positionl.

I'm also experiencing the same problem. I'm no engineer but this seems like a hardware issue. It almost seems like the weight of the ipad is pressing keys on the keyboard when in this "watch" position. It probably needs to be corrected and then I would say we deserve to have the keyboars replaced.
I'm having the same problem and now it seems my keyboard doesn't work at all. Did anyone get a fix?
