Error 43 after El Cap upgrade

Getting an error 43 when trying to delete a file on my remote server after I upgraded to El Cap. I connect to our remote server using an Automator workflow set up by our software engineer, but he's seeing that I have proper permissions on the server, but I can't delete or overwrite files. Has anyone out there ran in to this issue?

MacBook Pro (13-inch Early 2011), OS X El Capitan (10.11.2)
