Q: SLOW Canon Pro9000 Mk.II printing in El Capitan 10.11.2
Even though I've downloaded the Canon Pro9000 Mark II driver said by Canon to be compatible as of 18 Sept 2015 with El Capitan 10.11.x [http://support-sg.canon-asia.com/contents/SG/EN/0100176902.html], my printer might as well be operating in stop-action.
It spits out one line every 40-70 seconds, so how long does it take to produce a 300 dpi color photo I need shortly for my daughter?
Plus, the file comes from canon.asia, not even Canon USA, where it tells me no driver is available for my [detected] os.
This ***** out loud. Does Canon think this isn't going to drive me to other printers that actually work?
If anyone has a functional workaround or solution, I'm all ears. Thanx in advance.
Best/DCR
Daniel

Thanks, in all respects. Yes, I've sent email, but no answers so far.
