Can't uninstall Spotify - app extensions in use

Hello

I used to be a heavy user of Spotify, but now have canceled my subscription. I'm trying to uninstall the Mac app. However, when I try to drag the icon to the trash it says I can't because the app has extensions that are in use. I looked under extensions in System Preferences, but there no extensions listed. How do I get rid of or disconnect these extensions to delete the app?
