how in the world do i exit terminal mode from the utilities

hello, i have someone helping with a driver and I got everything all done BESIDES I don't know how to exit out of terminal mode from the utilities...what command do i put in or hit...

iMac with Retina 5K display, OS X El Capitan (10.11.2)

exit

Terminal > Quit Terminal

Command > Q

As BobTheFisherman noted: type 'exit' 9without air quotes) and hit return. Then use the keyboard combination: Command + Q.
