Greyed songs in Music app using 3G

Hi,

When I try to listen music using the Apple Watch, if I'm not connected to wifi I cannot listen any song that hadn't been played previously.

All the songs are displayed as unavailable or greyed when I'm using 3G/4G. If I connect to wifi, all the songs become available again.

I've been looking for some option in the iPhone or the Apple Watch app to enable the Music app using under mobile connections but I've found nothing.

Any suggestion?

Hi

To listen to music directly from Apple Watch, you can sync a playlist to it.

Before syncing the playlist to your watch, you may need to first download any music that is stored in the cloud (eg Apple Music, iTunes Match).

To listen to that playlist, you would also first need to pair Bluetooth headphones to your watch.

Thanks, but I'm trying to listen Apple Music and my own lists from the iPhone, not the music stored in Apple Watch.

Some time ago I could do it, but right now I can't.

On your iPhone, go to: Settings > iTunes & App Store > check that Use Mobile / Cellular Data is enabled.

I think it worked. I disabled wifi and all the songs remain available in the Apple Watch.
