Q: updated iphone 6s to IOS 9.2 and lost facetime app

My daughter has the 6s, she update the IOS to 9.2. When she did this she lost the facetime app. It is no where on the phone. When she goes into her contacts to facetime it is there, but when she clicks on it, nothing happens.

Hi damom111,

I understand that your daughter is unable to make FaceTime calls on her iPhone. Let's see if we can figure out what is going on.

The first place I would look is to see if any restrictions are in place to not allow FaceTime calls to happen. Go to Settings > General > Restrictions to see if it is enabled. It it is, this would explain why the app does not show up and place FaceTime calls. More details about Restrictions is outline in the first article.
