The quickest way is to delete the app by selecting it, pressing and holding the touch pad and then confirming the delete.  Then download the latest version from the App store.  There are settings to auto update you can turn on in the Apple TV settings menu to take care of things in the background.

I have your same setup and BTW Asphalt 8 is pretty cool on the new Apple TV.

    Let them update automatically.

Settings > Apps > Automatically Update Apps

I got the same dialog box today.  It tells you to upgrade but the only option is Not Now.  Not user friendly.  Well I have had automatic app upgrades turned on since day one and that did not work.  As I said in my earlier post I deleted the App and downloaded the latest version.  Turns out they added a prompt in the new version to give your age and gender.  They are trying to protect themselves from underage kids making unauthorized in app purchases.  Oh well, after that it works fine.

You should send feedback to the app developer related to the "user experience". Apple does not create the apps i.e. The age consent is asphalt 8 not Apple...

I Found out how to Update The App's in The Apple TV 64GB 1080i

it seems you have to go in The App's Section where you Download all The App's on Apple TV 64GB 1080i & Visit The App Page you Downloaded it from & there is a Little Box where it say's Update you just Click it & it Updates The App.   ✌️

LIke where I Downloaded The Asphalt 8 App on Apple TV 64GB 1080i I had to visit the Page on Apple TV 64GB 1080i in the App Store & there was a little Box where it say's Update , all you need to do is Click it & then it Updates Automatically   ✌️

I contacted Apple & they told me what to do & everything works fine for me now.   ✌️

I Hope this helps others also now??   ✌️
