Q: Can you print one picture from a home video? I have a Maverick and imovie '11 version 9.0.2  The  video was taken on an iphone 4S.

I have a video which was made on my iphone 4S and is now in imovie and in itunes, also in iphoto.  I would like to print one shot that is on it so I can have a snapshot of my friend.  Is this possible?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

There are multiple ways to do this. I have iMovie 10, and in that you just go to the frame in the movie that you want, and choose File/Share/Image. That will create a JPG you can print from iPhoto or Preview or anything else that can print an image.

If you open the movie in QuickTime Player and go to the frame you want, you can Edit/Copy to the clipboard and open Preview and then File/New from Clipboard, and the image will appear in a new document ready for printing. It can also be pasted into Photoshop or any other program that can print.
