Health app won't store Jawbone up3 data?

I have been recording step data amongst other data via Apple health.

I installed up software and connected up3 band a few days ago.

Since then the Apple health app will display step data on the day. But the following day the up data is removed and hasn't been stored

any suggestions out there?
