I am using the default mail app and have multiple accounts in it (GMail / iCloud / work Exchange account). Is it possible to change how each account alerts me? For example, sometimes I only want my GMail account to make a sound when for new mail. From what I can tell, alerts (sounds, pop ups etc) are an all or nothing thing with the mail app.

It looks like there is a way to do this. Go to the Settings app, then Notifications and scroll down to Mail. You can then configure notifications per email account. Now, I can have my different email accounts notify me in different ways (or not at all).
Thanks for the quick response. I was hoping I was overlooking something. I guess I will use two mail apps, the default mail app and GMail app. That way I can set it to alert me only with the GMail app for those times I only want GMail coming through.
You're correct; it's all or nothing.
