Will Logic Pro 9 work with El Capitan?
I have an MAUDIO Fast Track Pro which I fear may not work with El Capitan but will the Logic Pro 9 software alone work ok?
Cheers,
Karl.

While waiting for someone with LP9 to respond, you may like to know that Logic Express 9 seems to be working normally in El Capitan 10.11.2. I have by no means done extensive testing because I use LPX now, but I launched in both 32-bit and 64-bit modes, played some old projects, and recorded a little audio and synths. Seems fine.
Re: Fast Track Pro, M-Audio doesn't list it as supported yet but some people have gotten it to work with this workaround.
Thanks Guitarist!
I have a separate Macbook Pro I can try it on before the iMac but thought I'd do a bit of home work before taking the plunge.
Can I go back to Yosemite from El Capitan? Seems I can after a search but it's not the most straight forward thing.
Cheers.
If working in Logic is important to you, be sure to back up your hard drive BEFORE you update so you can easily roll it back if things don't work out.
I have everything backup twice 😉
I have Logic Pro 9 (64 bit) running fine with El Capitan 10.11.2. I've recorded both audio and midi tracks with no issues.
Many thanks CSUKE!!!
Good to hear, I think I'll give it a whirl on th Macbook first before taking the plunge on the imac!
I'll try and report back here with my findings.
Karl.
