Q: Why do playlists get removed when you upgrade from 5s to 6s?
I have backed up my iPhone 5s and restored to my new shiny iphone6s to find none of my playlists have been copied over. when I plug my phone in to ITunes I cant authorise the phone as the menu is hidden, but I found it eventually. but still no playlists or previously purchased albums.
I don't wish to use ITunes on the PC as it ALWAYS removes things from my phone, is there a way of saying that my iPhone is the master and never to remove anything automatically?
The iPhone is in my hand and always on me so I update that as a device and download/purchase music, when I plug in the phone to my PC and load ITunes for some reason, iTunes decides to remove things, this is quite annoying.
If I configure manual sync, I cant seem to copy music over to my iPhone.
I'm guessing I'm doing things wrong, please could you help me use my iPhone in a way where I can update playlists and download music without ITunes removing things?
Many thanks
iPhone 5s, iOS 9.0.2
