Mails Not Appearing on Mac Mail ...

Something strange is going on with my Mac Mail, mails are not showing up and in order to make them appear I have to quit mail and then log in, and they show up. I´m using Mac Mail Version 9.2. and OS X El Capitan 10.11.2. You will probably ask why I´ve noticed it and is basically because I´ve them on my IPhone without any problem.
