Q: Magic Trackpad 2 not Connecting to my MBP

I just got a new Trackpad 2 and for some reason is not pairing with my MBP (OS 10.10.5). I currently use my MBP on clamshell mode, hooked to two old Apple Cinema HD Displays (23") and a Logitech bluetooth keyboard.

See the screenshots attached below. Basically it shows up on the Bluetooth panel, but it doesn't connect. When I try to pair it using the Trackpad panel, it just doesn't get discovered.

I have it connected with the cable and it sort of works fine (most of the track gestures don't seem to function even though they're enabled in the panel), but as soon as I unplug the cable, the trackpad doesn't respond via bluetooth.
