    Hello sokayna,

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities!

From your post, it sounds like you transferred your purchased music and voice memos to iTunes from your iPhone and need to locate them. If this is the case, the following article explains that they would be located in a playlist within iTunes. The article does mention iPod specifically, but the information will be the same for your iPhone.

To play the voice memos that have been synchronized to your computer in iTunes, select the Voice Memos playlist on the left side of the iTunes window. To play the synchronized voice memos on the iPod, select the Voice Memos playlist in the Music menu, not the Voice Memos menu in the Extras menu.

If you need help finding your Playlists, the next article will explain how to access them.

    Sidebar and playlists

In iTunes 12, you can see your full music library and playlists side-by-side, making it easy to browse your music and drag your favorite songs into any playlist. iTunes also displays a built-in playlist to help you quickly find your Music Videos. And you can access your devices and Home Sharing libraries from the sidebar too.

To show the sidebar and your playlists, click on the music icon in the upper-left corner of iTunes, and then click Playlists. Certain items like devices and Home Sharing appear alongside the media icons, when available.

    Cheers!

    Hi again sokayna,

Thanks for replying with this extra information. From this information, it doesn’t sound like the Voice Memos actually synced to iTunes. Another possible way you have to recover these Voice Memos would be to restore from an iCloud or iTunes backup of your iPhone that was made prior to them being erased.

If you were backing up using one of these methods, the following article will explain the process of restoring from that backup to recover your data.
