I just recently bought the iphone 6 from T-Mobile and I just want to take  pictures with out the camera shutter sound, I tried almost everything, for example using the side mute button but it isn't working, and most sites say it is from japan but I just bought the phone here in the united states so I have no idea what the problem is, nor how to fix it. I really just want to take pictures without that annoying sound, please someone help me.

    Hi, daiseyy13.

Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.

I understand that you are unable to turn off the shutter sound of the camera on your iPhone and this isn't a Japanese model.  I know this article isn't labeled exactly for this issue, but let's go through the attached troubleshooting steps that apply to this issue.

Follow these steps and test the sound after each one.

    1. Go to Settings > Sounds and drag the Ringer And Alerts slider to turn the volume up.
    2. If you can hear sound from the speaker, then the speaker works. Continue with these steps to find the setting or switch that's affecting the sound. If you can't hear sound from the speaker, contact Apple Support.
    3. If your device has a Ring/Silent switch, make sure it's set to ring. If you can see orange, it's set to silent.
    4. If you follow these steps and still hear no sound or distorted sound, contact us.

If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker

    Cheers
