It sounds like you've done the optimizations available to help increase your battery life from here, Maximizing Battery Life & Lifespan, but the battery still drains faster than expected. I would next use Settings to see if there is a specific app may be using to much charge and may need to be reinstalled:
About the battery usage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
If that is not the case, I would next troubleshoot the software on the phone by quitting all the running apps:
1. Press the Home button two times quickly. You'll see small previews of your recently used apps.
2. Swipe left to find the app you want to close.
3. Swipe up on the app's preview to close it.
When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities, let us know how that goes!

Apple WatchHi
The best way to make battery last longer is to turn off Apps Refresh .
I get 3 / 4 hours more life works on iPhone / iPad .
Cheers
Brian
