Q: how do i download one or two songs from a family sharing member?

My son has an iPod nano so the only way for him to download songs is by plugging into my mac. He signed into his iTunes account, went to family purchases found the songs that he would like to download from my purchases and we don’t see any way to select to download just a song or two. The only download option we see is when all my songs are listed and at the bottom of the screen it says download all. How can I download a selected few?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.3)

Your question is describing the Purchased screen in the iTunes Store, correct?  Not something specifically related to using an iPod nano...

On the Purchased screen in iTunes Store, show the list as Songs (not Albums).  For each song row, if it's not already in his lTunes library, at the right end of row, there is a "cloud" symbol with a down-pointing arrow.  That's the download button for that song.  Click it to download the song.
