my IPHONE WONT LET ME IN

basically i forgot my password which i thought was 1325 but apparently i am mistaken and it is terrible because i cant afford a new phone and i cant get in my iphone 4 i have plugged it into itunes and tried to reset it but it keeps telling me that 'find your iphone must be off to reset' I SHOULDN'T HAVE CHANGED THE PASSWORD, i know my family and friends all have said the same thing. IM LOCKED OUT AND I CANT REMEBER THE PASSWORD AND IT WONT RESET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
