my keyboard stopped to work.

caps lock and backspace not working at all. I have apple care till 2016 for my iMac. do i get replace for free? where can i see it on apple care details?

iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2010), OS X El Capitan (10.11.2), Mac (27-inch, Late 2012)

If your keyboard was bought with the Mac which qualifies for Apple Care, yes. Ideally you should take it to your nearest Apple store. But it must be the keyboard supplied with the late 2012 iMac, which I guess is the one concerned.
