Why has my Apple TV aerial screensaver stopped working?

frustrating. I've had the new Apple TV for a couple weeks and love the new aerial screensaver while listening to music. Suddenly yesterday the aerial screensaver decided to get buggy. It works for about two minutes before the screen fades to black. The aerial screensaver does not come back unless I wake the TV and allow it to go back asleep, at which time the screen saver restarts but then fades to black after another couple minutes. I've adjusted several settings in the screensaver menu but nothing works. The photo screensaver seems to work fine so I think it's just effecting the aerial screensaver. Haven't been able to find any mention of this issue anywhere. Anyone have ideas?
