I boughta anew ipod touch 6 and there aren't many stores where i can find a case for it, I was wondering if i would be able to buy a case for an iphone5/5s and if it would fit the new ipod touch 6.

No the iPhone is thicker. However a case for the iPod 5 will fit perfectly except that it will have a hole in the back for a strap, not a big problem.
