My secondary hard drive disappeared after installing El Capitan 10.11.2 update

Hello,

My secondary internal hard drive has disappeared (can't see it on the desktop, on finder or on disk utility or on the About this Mac option) after the installation of El Capitan 10.11.2 update. I have already:

1. restarted the system

2. Reseted PRAM and NVRAM

3. Reseted the System Management Controller

It does not seem to be a hardware issue, as this hard drive was working properly before the update.

Would you have any idea of how to proceed, please?
Thanks,

gus

VIN,iMac (21.5-inch Late 2009), OS X El Capitan (10.11.2)

I've got the exact same problem after updating to 10.11.2!

My second hdd in my MacBook Pro suddenly disappears within 10 minutes after booting. I just gets ejected. If I put the hdd into an external bay and connect it via USB it is just working fine, so the hdd IS working. It must be some kind of controller problem. I used the same drive in an MacBook Pro 2010 and MacBook Pro 2012 before the update and it was working fine.
