Hi there salifou,

It sounds like your Apple ID is locked and you cannot unlock it. First I would suggest taking a look at this article to help you out here:

If your Apple ID is locked

If your Apple ID is locked for security reasons, you might see one of these alerts:

  • “This Apple ID has been disabled for security reasons”
  • "You can't sign in because your account was disabled for security reasons"
  • "This Apple ID has been locked for security reasons"

When you see one of these alerts, you can go to iforgot.apple.com to unlock your account with your existing password or to reset your password. After multiple unsuccessful attempts to unlock your account, your Apple ID will remain locked and you can try again the next day.

If you use two-step verification, you need to use your recovery key and a trusted device. And if you use two-factor authentication, you need a trusted device or trusted phone number to unlock your Apple ID.

If you see a message that is different from the alerts above and you can't reset your password, contact us for help.

Learn more

After you change your password, you might need to update it in your iCloud settings and in any Apple services that you sign in to with your Apple ID. Learn more about Apple ID and where you can use it.

If that is not the case, can you clarify what you mean by "My apple id is getting locked out every time."? Is there an error message of some sort? Where or when are you getting this message?

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

Hello Sterling,

Thanks for your reply.

I have already tried these steps.

I unlocked my apple account many times but its getting locked. I can not do anything with my phone. It keeps on asking me to verify my apple id.After verification, it says that your apple account is locked please unlock it.But it works in iCloud as well as Apple website.

So, even after unlocking my apple id by resetting password, it doesn't work in my phone but it works with all apple web sites perfectly.

Because of this issue i am not able to following things,

1) Not able to install any application

2) Not able to reset my phone as it requires password.

3) Can't restore backup as it asks me turn off Find my iPhone.

Please check this.

I appreciate the update! Next I would normally recommend putting the phone into recovery mode and restoring it that way, but you may want to reach out to our account security team to see if there is anything that needs to be done with the account:

Contact Apple for help with Apple ID account security

If you would like to try recovery mode, this article will show you how to do that:

If you can‘t update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Hello Sterling ,

Thanks for your answer.

I have tried to put the Phone into recovery but unfortunately after doing so i was requested to activate it by using the Apple Id and password but this was not successful ,the following message is shown after using my Id and password "my mail cannot be used to unlock this iphone".

Now I can't use the phone at all since it is not activated .

Thank to help by removing the link between the phone and the Apple Id which i can't use to activate it .

Here is attached the screen shot of the message and as you can see i'm connected to the same Apple ID but i can't get through with it.

Thanks in advance for your support.

Dear Lawrence ,

The phone is linked to my Apple ID from the first time I received it from my company .

If you have provision you can check that the phone was working fine before I updated it to the latest IOS .

Have a close look into the screenshot i provided above you can see that the mail with dot is mine as well.

There was no other user of this phone ,only myself used it .I received it in replacement of my previous iphone which was defective and it was working fine linked to my Apple Id and then suddenly after i updated it ,the request for Apple Id and password keeps on popping up and if i put the right Apple Id and password a message come that the account is locked and need to be reset which i did n time in vain.

Here is the Apple ID email if you can check : ***********

Best regards
