How do I reinstall garageband for free?
I have deleted garageband but i have to pay to get it back (had garageband when i first opened my mac) is there a way to download it again for free?
Check, if GarageBand is showing among your Purchases at the fourth tab "Purchases" of the App Store. If you are seeing it there with a button "Accept" or "Install"; click that button to install it.
Which version of GarageBand did you have? If it was GarageBand '11 and came on a Mac with installer DVDs, use the installer from the DVD with the bundled applications. Then update the installed version from Apple's downloads page, see: (GarageBand 6.0.5)
If it was a Mac without installer DVDs, you need the App Store to download from your Purchases history.
