iPod only shuffles songs in playlists, won't repeat playlists

I've got a 4th generation iPod shuffle. It shuffles my songs on shuffle mode, but when i turn it onto the repeat mode it only reshuffles the order of songs. I've tried resetting it, and removing and re adding songs, and can't fix it. Any Suggestions???

It's problem description is unclear... Are you trying to play songs IN ORDER, instead of shuffled, from a particular playlist that you synced the shuffle?
