Q: Why can't I get iwork apps for free on my iphone 6?

Hi, I'd really like some help/info on this.

I just got an Iphone 6, and one of the features that made my mind on it was that Iwork apps as Imovie and GarageBand would be free for it, as I read on the Apple store website. Sadly I haven't been able to get them as the AppStore want me to charge the normal price for any of them. I've tried signing out and in, and checked that the device is on my apple Id devices list.

What's wrong? am I that bad lucky that the offer went off this week? Is it ios9 related? (I have ios 9)

Get these apps directly from your iPhone as shown here. This should still be valid for iOS 9.

I've already tried that, but the price tag is still there. They want to charge $40 for the whole thing. I don't know who to talk to and complain. Thanks anyway!
