Dec 20, 2015 8:43 PM in response to vazandrewby marrocks,I really did not think of this because I have no issues viewing the Apple TV 2nd Gen and Blu-Ray player through HDMI input 1 on the TV, but I'll try switching it over the holidays as my old LCD does weigh a bit and I need help removing it from over the fireplace.
Have you had such as problem as I described?

Dec 20, 2015 8:48 PM in response to marrocksby vazandrew,No I haven't. It may very well be the cable but sometimes it's an issue with the port. If the 2nd gen Apple TV has been tested in the same port as the 3rd with no issue then that is unlikely, but still worth a shot to switch ports for the 3rd gen before getting the cable.
