Q: I changed my email in iCloud and deleted the old one. On the ID pop up it still shows the old one and will not let me in. How do I get it to recognize the new one?

I Changed email address in iCloud and deleted the old one. It shows the new one as primary. But in the pop up window it

sstill shows the old one and will not let me in. How do I straighten this out? I am pretty dead in the water right now. Thanks.

Hey marilynfrommustang,

If I understand correctly, you changed your Apple ID and it is asking you for your old Apple ID. I would recommend you read this article, it may be able to help troubleshoot the issue.

If iCloud asks you for the password to your previous Apple ID - Apple Support

Try signing out completely first. then sign back in.
Let us know how you go
Also check the App Store for what is signed in
