Q: notifications do not appear on my phone

Notifications do not come up on my iphone 5  with the apps that use internet. Before when I turned on the wifi, I used to get banners of all my notifications from all my apps, but now I have to open any specific app and than all the messages, emails everything will load after, instead of giving me the notifications. Please help. Thank you

    Hi  khanjan15,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it seems you are not getting notifications from one app. I would recommend you read this article, it may be able to help troubleshoot the issue.

Not getting notifications for a specific app

Push notifications require an active Wi-Fi or cellular connection. If you’re not getting notifications for a specific app, try these steps:

    1. Go to Settings > Notifications to verify that the app supports notifications. If notifications do not appear in the Notification Center, make sure that the Notification Center setting for the app is enabled.
    2. Make sure you’re signed in to your Apple ID.
    3. If you’ve recently installed an app or restored a backup, open the app to start getting notifications.

    Cheers
