Green bars then shut off
I was watching a video on cbspolitics and it paused, the screen had yellow and green lines on it and then it turned off. No buttons work and even if I plug it in nothing shows up. What do I do?

Did you try to press the home and sleep button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo shows up again?
If your iPhone, iPad, doesn't respond or won't turn on - Apple Support
If this does not work, you'll have to get the phone serviced.
