Thank you but if I am doing a banner ad and its a rectangle with profile pic on one side and company logo on other side (these are both separate images that I drag into pages). When I change the pixel count on the whole thing together, will it degrade the images?
You change the physical size you change the dpi but do not degrade the image which keeps the same number of pixels.
I am wondering however what exactly you are trying to do. Why do this in Pages which is basically a vector program that accepts bitmap images but does not directly let you control their resolution.
And what is the file format of these logos?
You should be doing this in a more appropriate Application such as Pixelmator, Affinity Designer or Photoshop. Even at a pinch Preview.

No version of Pages '09, or Pages v5 support pixel ruler units. You will have to change the Ruler preferences to points, and then use this table for adjustment to pixels, or use an external vector tool (Affinity Designer, GIMP, Pixelmator, etc.) that offer pixel ruler units.
Menu > Pages > Preferences > Ruler > Points
