Q: battery drains more than 50% overnight while in sleep mode
I've had the macbook pro retina display since Dec 4..so its only been 17 days. I woke up this morning to find my laptop at 33% battery, after going to sleep with it at 87% in sleep mode. I did some research and have turned off bluetooth and a bunch of other battery conserving parameters...still drains quickly... i recently just reset the SMC. Just wanted to ask and see if theres anything else i can do or if i should take it in to get looked at.
looking at my battery info in system information shows that my battery is on cycle count 7..is this normal for only having the laptop for 17 days? it seems kind of high..not sure if this is of concern or not. Ive only had to charge it 4 or 5 times since getting it. Should i take it in to get looked at?
Any info or help would be appreciated
