Dec 21, 2015 3:56 PM in response to my gingerby NikoFe,Now I see where I made the mistake. In the link you sent it says that I need to use only Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Ultimate, Windows 8, or Windows 8 Pro but I used windows 8.1. However, now I don't know how to install the windows when the bootcamp already portioned my hard-drive. Can you please help me with that ?
Thank you.

Dec 21, 2015 4:03 PM in response to NikoFeby my ginger,If you get the windows 8.1 to be usable Bootcamp will rewrite over the files already installed. Is the widows 8.1 a full install or an upgrade? https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201457

Dec 25, 2015 10:54 AM in response to NikoFeby my ginger,If you have no full install version of windows 7 or 8 you cannot download 8.1 as that would be an update. And therefore would not install properly. And if you got the full install from a site other then Microsoft, it could be defective.
