Is there a way to tell the difference between my iPhone 6 charger and my sons iPad mini charger? Or can the charger be used on either?

Is there a way to tell the difference of my iPhone 6 charger and my sons iPad mini charger ? Ours got mixed up and I'm not sure if it matters or if they can be used in either one.. I don't want to ruin our devices ..

Nothing will get damaged if you use the wrong one, but the iPad will take longer to charge with the iPhone charger.

If you have a magnifier and good lighting, you might be able to read the fine print on the chargers. The iPhone one will be 5 V, 1 A, 5 Watts.

The iPad 5 V, 2 A, 10 Watts
