I understand that you are having issues opening up your iTunes library. Let's see if we can figure out how to get that open.
Now you should have a Previous Library after each update to iTunes. My recommendation would be replacing the current iTunes library database file with one of the more recent ones. Take a look at the article below to walk you through this to open up iTunes.
