iPhone 6 flashlight doesn't stay on

I went into my camera app to attempt to force my flash on but i noticed that a yellow triangle was in its place that when tapped on said "the iphone must cool down before flash can be enabled" and my phone earlier that day had also shown the message it displays when it is overheating; so perhaps your phone just needs to cool off, i put it in my freezer (while still in a lifeproof case) then once taken out i removed it from its case and it was working fine again.

Apple won't look into a problem with your phone unless you tell them you have one. Either make an appointment at the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or use the Contact Support link at the top right of every page of these forums.

I have the same problem. Until you have the time to get this properly fixed, try this. Open camera and select forced flash. Take a picture. It may or may not flash at the proper time. When it does properly flash at the same time as the shutter release, close camera and activate flashlight again. Mine stays on like it's supposed to for a day or two, then intermittently does it again.

I am having this same issue and it has been going on for some time. I believe it is a software issue because for me it started happening right after one of the updates. I cannot seem to find a fix for it and I live very far away from an apple store so going to the store is not an easy option. Any help would be appreciated.

Why are you sure it's a software issue? Try restoring your phone as new. Does the LED work properly? If it doesn't, there is a good possibility it's a hardware issue. Make an appointment at the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store.

Unless the problem is with the circuitry that turns the LED on and off.

please let me know if you have solved the issue

Install any software who has the ability to adjust the lighting strength, turn it in using this software and when it goes off adjust the brightness and it will be fine
