Q: Android Wear 3rd Party Watch Faces

I just received a LG Urbane and am still awaiting my iPhone 6s in the mail; however, through all my research I can tell the GooglePlay store will in highly limited in it's ability to customize the experience. I understand Apple clearly has a vested interest in limiting the user experience on non-apple products; however, I would really like for them to open up the ability for third-party developers to go through the Android Wear app in order to increase functionality on non-apple smart watches, such as apps and new watch faces.

As of now it is very limited to the few that Google was able to pack into the app, but I would like to suggest that this be opened further either in the iTunes store or through the app allowing us to either download or purchase these new features.

Please tell me I'm not alone on this one

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.2, LG Urbane

    BobTheFisherman,

Excuse my misunderstanding, since there were no other options I felt described my issue correctly. I figured that since I was describing an issue with the Android Device (which is my mind deals with windows as a opposed to iOS), this made more sense. I looked at the iTunes store category and it broke it down into subcategories that were farther away than this one.

So without digress, I guess the conclusion was that you didn't know the answer regarding this? I'm simply trying to find the best place to voice this so that I can get the most out of my Smartwatch,.

And just to clarify, the contact us link's categories are similar except the require me to have order numbers or error codes in order to actually put a request in, so I can't actually do that.

Android has nothing to do with Apple products nor Windows, the subject of this forum. Android is a Google operating system. I suggest you ask on an Android or Google forum. I don't know of any Apple/Android Compatibility forums but maybe a search will reveal one.

I'm not suggesting this because I don't know or don't want to answer you. I am suggesting this so that you find the best place to get an answer to your question/concern.

I searched online, and after several forums being found, the conclusion was that the functionality of the LG Urbane on iOS through the Android Wear App (offered on the iTunes Store), was no limited by it's own capability, but rather, what Apple allows it to have, since they would most likely not like the idea of transactions flowing the competitor through an app like that.

I felt this was a little too sinister of Apple, but regardless it directed me to inquire Apple regarding the issue, and from there I ended up here, which clearly is not the correct area. So hopefully at least you can direct me to a better category within the Apple forums where my voice my be heard and hopefully allow for a better experience on these devices.

Thanks for being patient with me in the meantime.

Submit feedback to Apple using the Feedback page:

    http://www.apple.com/feedback

I'd use the Apple Watch section and explain your concerns in the comments.

Android is no more related to Windows than it is to Mac OS.
