Q: Storage

I subscribed to iTunes Match and when I access my songs on my iPhone they take up all my storage... I thought the songs were stored in iCloud? Do I need to purchase iCloud Storage? The Internet does not explain much.... Help!?!?

You do not need to purchase iCloud storage. Your iTunes Match subscription covers the cost of storing your music in iCloud.

Your songs are stored in iCloud. But initially they are also stored wherever they had been stored before you subscribed to iTunes Match. And iTunes Match will keep the songs on your iOS device once you have played it there.

Thanks for your reply. I have read all that. When I went to access my iTunes library on my phone it download everything to it and took up all my phone storage. I thought everything was cloud based and it doesn’t need to download everything to your device?
