"GarageBand has detected feedback" message keeps popping up--anyone else having this issue or know how to make it stop?!

Okay, so I'm in GarageBand 10.1.0 editing tracks/loops; nothing is being recorded, but this notice pops up every few minutes saying GB has "detected feedback" (?!?)... it stays until I boink on one of the buttons it offers: "Monitor On" "Monitor Off" or "No Feedback Protection" (yes, the same options you get on the individual tracks when something is actually being recorded, but again, NOTHING is being recorded! It's getting super annoying and I can't figure out how to make it stop, can anyone help me (tell my WHY this keeps happening and/or how to make it STOP)??? THANK YOU!!!

A suggestion from a user of older GarageBand from 2011 points information on a linked page here:

Re: feedback in garageband

That may be out-dated, in regard to newer versions of GarageBand. I see some other links in the

section beneath your thread, in the More Like This section.

Since I've avoided using GarageBand after a few hours, years ago, the use of a search engine

may help locate similar topics online. Depending on how you word the inquiry, may yield more

than advertisement or sites offering bad software malware adware download such as softonic, etc.

Sorry to not be of more help...

Good luck & happy computing! 🙂
