Setting up Time Capsule for the first time

I think I need to update the Airport Utility before starting the Install Process. I have Utility 6.3.5.

Do I need another Utility? MacBook Pro on OS 10.10.5.

Thanks................Clyde

Were there any software updates offered in the App Store for the product, or for your OS X?

System requirements for Time Capsule at Apple Store indicate:

Setup and Administration

Mac with OS X Lion v10.7.5 or later and AirPort Utility 6.3

Since the product includes AirPort and Time Capsule ideas, see both here:

My gear is older, but I did look into 'ratings & reviews' here:

There may be some software item for the system, but it should work.

If not, after test it thoroughly, and consider a return.

Good luck & happy computing! 🙂

You already have the most up to date version of AirPort Utility for your Mac's operating system at the present time, so no need to look for something that is not there.

If you decide to move to El Capitan OS X (10.11.2), then it will come with the most up to date version of AirPort Utility for that operating system.
