What do you use to clean your stainless steel mesh band? (Not the watch)
I am not looking for instructions on cleaning the watch itself, just the stainless steel mesh band.
Any suggestions?

A damp cloth alone did not remove the oil stains from my wrist. So I tried some gentle stainless steel cleaner which I use on my refrigerator and rinsed it off really well, and then used a dab of dish soap to clean any residue off of that, and then rinsed it very thoroughly. It worked and my band looks beautiful again. Next time, I think I'll just use the dish soap and see how that goes. Not sure what the problem with that would be.
None of these answers are up to snuff. For the price of these watches, Apple Stores should offer free steam-cleaning service. That is the best way to clean this type of metal or any similar jewelry.
Hello guys,
Yes apple says you should clean it with a cloth but what I prefer and do with my watch is run it with some water, then dry it, then I wipe it off.
I use Cape Cod Polishing Cloths, it does a great job and smells nice also
