Q: Recently partitioned disk now has no file system

I recently partitioned my mac, but when I did it the disk lost its file system. I am wondering how to use the terminal to add a file system to the disk. Here is the error message that I get when trying to verify the disk volume. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.
