Q: Mail windows work weird in split view
MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)
OS X El Capitan 10.11.2
Mail version 9.2 (3112)
I see behaviour that looks weird for me. I don't know if it's a defect and if yes how I can report it this is why I would like to ask it here.
Steps:
1. Open a mail in a separate window
2. Use the mail window in pair with any other application in split view
Following behaviour that looks weird:
- when I close main mail window (by clicking red button on the top left cornet) and then open it again the window opens on the desktop where the pair "mail window + another application" is displayed. So I see main mail window top on front and small part of "the pair" behind it.
- when I click "Compose new message" it opens in a separate desktop.
As for me it would look more logically if Mail window would open on default desktop even if there is a message open in split view or on a separate desktop.
Is it a kind of a defect or is it an expected behaviour?
