The pass few days every time I try to go to my iBooks or to upgrade google it asks for credit card info, why?

IM having a very confusing problem. I tried to upgrade Google this morning and it asked for credit card info. The last few days no matter what I try to log into it asks for credit card info. This is on both iPad mini and iPhone 6 Plus.

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 9.2

Hello, Sandywa757.

Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.

It sounds like you are prompted to enter credit card information when attempting to update an application or make a new purchase. This could be caused by a couple or reasons. If the credit card attached to your Apple ID expired, the billing information in iTunes doesn't match the bank records or there is an outstanding balance, you will be required to enter your payment information details again. Below are a couple articles that cover these scenarios.

Change or remove your Apple ID payment information

If your credit card company‘s records don‘t match your records in the iTunes Store

Pay an unpaid balance in the iTunes Store

You may be able to change your payment method to none. If you are unable to make the change, take a look at the article below.

Why can’t I select None when I edit my Apple ID payment information?

Cheers
