It sounds like you are prompted to enter credit card information when attempting to update an application or make a new purchase. This could be caused by a couple or reasons. If the credit card attached to your Apple ID expired, the billing information in iTunes doesn't match the bank records or there is an outstanding balance, you will be required to enter your payment information details again. Change or remove your Apple ID payment information
If your credit card company‘s records don‘t match your records in the iTunes Store
Pay an unpaid balance in the iTunes Store
