Message to Android

My friend had a iPhone but switched to a android. Now every time I send her a message it sends as a IMessage, I know I can hold it and press "Send as Text Message" but I don't want to do that every time I text her. How do I set it so it sends as an IMessage every time I text her? Please help

If you tried what I asked you to do, then your friend has not deactivated iMessage. Your only other alternative after deleting your conversation with the friend is to go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. That will also delete any saved Wi-Fi passwords, and also ensure that you have an SMS plan provisioned on your account. However, that should not be an issue if you have been able to send SMS to other non-iOS users. Also, after deleting the conversation thread you have with this friend, have them send you a message, and then try responding to it.
